Stephen Regan,
President and CEO

Stephen Regan joined COTA in October 2007, bringing more than a decade of association management experience to the organization. Stephen is one of the founding Board members of the BC Partnership for Sustainable Tourism, now Ethos BC. Prior to joining COTA, Stephen was the Manager of Destination Development with Tourism Vancouver, He played a key role in building a province-wide coalition that prompted the B.C. Safe Streets legislation and assisted in the securing of TransLink’s support for the Canada Line. In addition, he has been the catalyst for advancing the idea of a province-wide accessible tourism initiative, and was instrumental in the establishment of both a Lower Mainland Tourism Roundtable and a Provincial Destination Marketing Organization Roundtable. Stephen was a Planning Commissioner with the City of Vancouver in 2006 and 2007.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a post-baccalaureate in environmental science.

Kitka Neyedli,
Membership & Industry Relations Coordinator

Kitka Neyedli joined COTA in October 2008 and brings to the organization over a decade of experience in communications, project management, and meetings and event planning. Kitka comes to COTA from roles in program management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and also holds a Diploma in Marketing Management from BCIT. She is primarily responsible for member engagement and special events development.

Margaret Ross,
Events & Communications Coordinator


Margaret Ross joined COTA in October 2008. Holding a Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree from Capilano University, Margaret brings to COTA a wealth of experience in the tourism industry and non-profit organizations. She is responsible for special events development, membership and industry communications, and provides executive support to the CEO and Board of Directors.
